The Mechanics of Borders
Mathieu, 19, has spent most of his life in foster care and keeps people at a distance while working in a slaughterhouse. When his older sister Heidi, who left for the United States three years earlier, asks him to bring her home, he reluctantly sets out on a journey that reopens old wounds and tests their fragile bond.
