Humboldt Parkway
150 years ago, Buffalo was considered one of the most beautiful and best planned cities in the world, thanks to Frederick Law Olmstead's concept of "a City within a Park". In the 1960s the construction of the Kensington Expressway destroyed our beautiful Parkway system, and, in fact, the healthy flow of people through Western New York.
The Expressway has exceeded its life expectancy and is now crumbling.
