In the official trailer for Woodshock, we open on Theresa (Kirsten Dunst) walking alone in the forest. She is talking about a memory and a profound loss. She is then lying in bed with a loved one, administering a substance that causes her to finally succumb to a seemingly forever sleep. From there we see flashes of Theresa’s painful life’s moments as she shifts between her waking days and interactions with others, and her moments of suspended and altered consciousness – the result of continued drug use – as hushed voices ask how she is and what she has done. 

Woodshock opens in theatres September 2017.
