Gloria Steinham (Julianne Moore) says taking to the road changed who she thought she was. When she was small, her father taught her that travel was the best education. Returning to the States after spending two years in India, Gloria (Alicia Vikander), now a journalist, is dismayed when she's given a fashion assignment. After going undercover as a Playboy bunny, it inspires lewd comments from her male colleagues. She decides to fight for women's liberation and becomes instrumental in the movement.
