In the trailer for the Marvel series The Defenders, we are brought into an interrogation room where we find Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), going through questioning for tampering with evidence. Suddenly out of nowhere, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) shows up demanding her not to talk, and claiming to be her attorney. From there, we see Luke Cage (Mike Colter) as he talks with Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), about how he can live a normal life after being named “Harlem’s Hero,” but Luke only has one worry — to keep the world safe. Claire claims she has somebody for Luke to meet, which turns out to be Danny Rand (Finn Jones). They are reluctant to trust each other at first, but after realizing they are on the same side they team up with the other heroes to help save the world.
