Extremely Unclean Theatre

July 16, 2023

A very messy, unkempt theatre (versus Westchester Commons and Short Pump Regal locations which are well maintained). I’ve been to the Commonwealth location at least 4 times over the past year and it has been the same each time. I took lots of photos but don’t see a way to show here.

only kiosks selling tickets

June 04, 2023

There was no cashiers selling tickets, leaving only janky kiosks, with confusing ui, 2 out of 3 which were not working. The kiosk did not read my gift card or credit card, my sister had to use her card. The line grew a decent amount while I was trying to figure it out. Also, the kiosk did not let me choose my preferred seat because it does not allow you to leave 1 seat between people. Normally that would be understandable except there were only 3 seats left in that row and there was only the 2 of us. The bass from the theater next door made the walls rumble which was distracting from the quieter parts of our movie. Would have driven further for a better theater if I'd known.

Now have to buy tickets at the concession stand.

October 21, 2019

Yesterday, my husband and I went to a movie here and found the ticket booths were closed. Customers are now forced to buy their tickets at the concession stands, whether or not they want anything to eat. Apparently, management thinks that, if you are made to stand in line for 10-15 minutes smelling popcorn, you will eventually buy some. It only made us mad. Second, the seats in the theater are narrow and uncomfortable if you are under 6 feet tall. The seats are so high that my feet dangled in the air for 2 hours, and I was anything but comfortable. We will be looking for another theater.
