Sophie Okonedo Overview

Born in England, Sophie Okonedo received her acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. She began her onscreen career in 1991, both in films and television. Her first award nomination was from the MTV Movie Awards for the kiss she shared with Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995).
