Justin Bruening is an American actor best known for his work on All My Children as Jamie Martin and on the hit Netflix series Sweet Magnolias as baseball player-turned-high school coach Cal Maddox.

Justin was born in St. Helena, Nebraska, where he graduated high school with only nine other classmates. After graduation he moved to San Diego, California, where he started his career as a model for Abercrombie & Fitch.

His talent agency soon pushed him towards acting, and in 2003, he was cast in the recurring role of Jamie Martin on the daytime drama All My Children. He worked on the show from 2003-2007 and also in 2011. In 2005 he earned the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer for his work on the show.

From 2008 to 2009, Justin starred on the television series Knight Rider, playing Mike Traceur, the son of Michael Knight from the original 1982 series of the same name.

Justin has made himself quite a career on television. He's had guest appearances on shows such as CSI: Miami (2007), CSI: NY (2011), and Lucifer (2020). Other shows on which he had recurring roles include Ringer (2011-2012), Switched at Birth (2012-2013) and Grey's Anatomy.

He can currently be seen in a lead role on the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias as Cal Maddox.

Justin is married to his All My Children co-star Alexa Havins.The couple have three children together. ~Sean Olegario
