HARRY EDEN

Date of Birth: December 12, 1989

Born in London, England, Harry Eden began his acting career after seeing a performance of the stage musical Oliver!. He was particularly impressed by the role of The Artful Dodger, and began training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School for children. His first jobs were in commercials, but he soon graduated to guest appearances on TV shows such as Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock., Helen West, London's Burning and Casualty.

Harry made his feature film debut in Pure (2002), winning a 2004 British Independent Film award as Most Promising Newcomer for his lead performance portraying a young boy trying to cope with his mother's heroin addiction. A supporting role as Nibs, one of the Lost Boys in Peter Pan (2003), followed. The same year, he filmed a lead role as a 12-year-old boy who tries to save his comatose sister in The Lazarus Child.

Ironically, when he was 14, Harry landed the role that initially inspired him to become an actor, playing The Artful Dodger in a dramatic film version of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist (2005). Since them, he played a lead role in Land of the Blind (2006) opposite Ralph Fiennes and Donald Sutherland.

Harry lives with his parents in Essex, England. He enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.
