Garry Shandling Overview

This Chicago, Illinois native comedian started out as a comedy writer for other situation comedies and as a stand-up comedian. He landed his first television show, It's Garry Shandling's Show in 1985. Shandling, however, made his biggest impression with work on The Larry Sanders Show (1993-98), a show about the trials, tribulations and double-dealing that goes on behind the scenes of a late-night talk show.
