BENJAMIN STOCKHAM

Date of Birth: July 8, 2000

At the age of seven, Benjamin Stockham was watching television when he decided he wanted to become an actor. His mother signed him up with an agency and he landed a tiny role in the movie Quarantine (2008) as an infected child.

Following a small guest appearance on the series Criminal Minds, Ben was chosen to play the youngest brother Robby Gunderson on the short-lived Fox sitcom Sons of Tucson. Ben soon found work with guest shots on other series such as CSI: NY, Rizzoli & Isles and Once Upon a Time. In 2012 he was cast as a regular on the NBC sitcom 1600 Penn, which ran for one season.

After appearing in the small budget film Decoding Annie Parker (2013) alongside Ben McKenzie and Helen Hunt, as well as the DVD release A Country Christmas (2013) with Trace Adkins, Ben struck it big when he was cast as the eccentric 11-year-old Marcus in the TV remake of the movie About a Boy, starring Minnie Driver as his mother and David Walton in the role that Hugh Grant made famous. The first season only had 13 episodes, but when it was renewed for a second season, 22 new episodes were scheduled.

In between seasons of About a Boy, in the summer of 2014 Ben traveled to Canada to star in the family adventure Lost & Found (2015), filmed in Sault Ste. Marie.
