When Peter Hedges decided to write his latest film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, he drew from his own life as a parent for inspiration. The film follows Jim and Cindy Green (Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Garner), a childless couple who bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears.
