Ewan McGregor Interview

Ewan McGregor has played a lot of roles in his acting career, but never a father. The real-life dad was emotionally drained after reading the script for The Impossible, which tells the story of a vacationing family caught, along with tens of thousands of others, in the devastation and mayhem of the 2004 tsunami. McGregor stars opposite Naomi Watts (who he co-starred with in 2005’s Stay) and says making the film was a life-changing experience.

Tribute.ca spoke with Ewan in Los Angeles about working on the film and what it was like to play this role being a father himself
