The trailer previews an anxious Superman (David Corenswet) attempting to provide emotional support for his struggling cousin Kara Zor-El, a.k.a. Supergirl (Milly Alcock). We see Kara struggling to find a sense of community, but only finding connection with her super-powered dog, Krypto.
The trailer takes a dark turn when Krypto is poisoned by a henchman of villain Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts), giving Kara three days to save her beloved pup. The experience challenges Supergirl's sense of identity, and even offers a rare piece of guidance to an orphan, Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley), who is seeking vengeance after Krem killed her family.
The trailer concludes with beloved DC Comics antihero Lobo (Jason Momoa) bantering with Supergirl during a fight, calling her "the ditz from that dive bar" before Supergirl quickly retaliates, kicking him to the ground and retorting, “Funny, that’s what I’ve been calling you."

Obsessed??? This site is like a used car lot.
Milly Alcock is incredible. I can't believe she hasn't been in more shows, she was a standout in that Netflix series Sirens with Julianne Moore. She's better than Sydney Sweeney imo. Can't wait to see her in Supergirl.
