During an appearance at the premiere of John Wick: Chapter 4 at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, Keanu Reeves was quick to respond to a fan's marriage proposal.
It happened when Keanu was onstage at the Paramount Theater with director Chad Stahelski after the screening of the film, answering questions from enthusiastic fans in the audience. He was asked if he'd kept any souvenirs from the movie. Keanu revealed that he'd kept John Wick's watch and wedding ring as mementos.
A fan then shouted: "I'll marry you!" Keanu quickly quipped, "Yeah, be careful what you wish for."
Another question came from a fan who wondered if Keanu was going to appear in the upcoming John Wick spin-offs, such as the Peacock series The Continental starring Mel Gibson, or the film Ballerina starring Ana de Armas.
There was some confusion when the two took a moment to answer, with Chad finally saying, "Uh, not sure yet,” while Keanu answered, "No." Keanu then corrected himself, saying, "I have a cameo in Ballerina, that’s true."
John Wick: Chapter 4 opens in theaters on March 24, 2023.
Love watching Keanu on screen. He's great and the movies he plays are always interesting to watch. Everyone loves him because he's really a simple guy doing what he loves to do.
